Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will lead and support electrical maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability and continuous improvement across the facility. The role involves troubleshooting, vendor liaison, and the development of maintenance schedules and training programs for the electrical team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support for all electrical maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and coordinate with vendors for spares and services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance schedules for equipment.
• Conduct inspections of high‑ and low‑voltage terminations, transformers, switchgear, motors, and related installations.
• Analyze system performance, recommend improvements, and prepare reports.
• Review electrical design packages, witness commissioning, and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Perform electrical system studies, including transients, load, and reliability calculations.
• Establish procedures for inspection and maintenance in line with engineering and safety standards.
• Provide on‑job training to subordinates and coordinate maintenance programs with users.

Required profile

• Electrical Engineer with hands‑on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to develop maintenance schedules and training procedures.
• Strong coordination skills for working with vendors and internal teams.

• High‑voltage and low‑voltage termination inspection.
• Transformer and switchgear maintenance.
• Electrical motor maintenance and testing.
• Electrical system analysis (transients, load, reliability).
