Electrical Maintenance Engineer I (Design)

About the role

We are looking for an Engineer I to join our electrical maintenance team in Yanbu. The role focuses on complex electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and design improvements for major plant equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procedures, preventive maintenance plans, and fault reports to optimise electrical equipment performance.
• Diagnose and resolve critical electrical faults promptly, providing optimal solutions.
• Contribute to departmental policies and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis with inspection and reliability teams.
• Review material reservations and requisitions for electrical maintenance tasks.
• Coach, train, and support team members to build required skills.
• Execute routine and preventive maintenance to achieve equipment availability.
• Install, commission, modify, and suggest design changes to electrical systems as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Fluent English with strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, transformers, PLCs and drives.
• Maintenance planning and execution.
• Root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of safety standards and industrial codes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with SAP and MS Office applications.
