Electrical Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join the maintenance team of a global food company. The role focuses on keeping production lines running efficiently by reducing downtime and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Reduce mean time to repair (MTTR) on production equipment.
• Analyze and report anomalies; complete M1, M2, M3 notifications in SAP PM.
• Perform electrical and mechanical inspections, including predictive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Develop tools with supervisors and the Maintenance Engineering department to accelerate maintenance services.
• Execute scheduled equipment and facility maintenance while adhering to Kanban planning.
• Provide feedback to optimise planning, scheduling and backlog reduction.
• Diagnose root causes of electrical/mechanical failures and carry out preventive and corrective actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, follow EHS instructions, use PPE and safety systems, and support risk assessments.
• Report EHS hazards, incidents and issues; follow GMP and 5S standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
