Emerging Technology Services Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Emerging Technology Services Engineer to lead innovation initiatives, evaluate cutting‑edge technologies, and build proof‑of‑concepts that drive business transformation. The role combines AI/ML experimentation, cloud‑native development, and automation to deliver scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research, evaluate and implement emerging technologies to solve business challenges.
• Design, develop and deliver AI/ML proof‑of‑concepts, including model creation, testing and deployment.
• Build cloud‑native, scalable, resilient and secure solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Create automation and orchestration workflows using modern enterprise tools and scripting.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product and business teams to identify innovation opportunities.
• Document solution architectures, technical findings and best practices.
• Mentor technical teams on emerging technologies and participate in architecture reviews.

Required profile

• 6–11 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, AI/ML or emerging‑technology projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and solution‑design capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on AI/ML development, including model training, evaluation and deployment.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models and AI frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of microservices, containers and Kubernetes.
• Automation and orchestration using enterprise tools, scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
