Endocrinology Consultant

About the role

The Endocrinology Consultant provides comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders, combining clinical expertise with modern telemedicine tools. This role focuses on delivering personalized, evidence‑based treatment while supporting population health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough medical assessments, including histories, physical exams, and specialized diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and reproductive hormone disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate patient preferences and the latest clinical guidelines.
• Monitor chronic endocrine conditions, adjusting medications and lifestyle interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, medication use, and self‑care strategies.
• Utilize in‑person and telemedicine platforms for consultations, follow‑ups, and remote monitoring.
• Lead population health management efforts, implementing preventive measures and health‑awareness programs.
• Adopt value‑based care principles to improve outcomes while controlling costs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement, research, and clinical audits.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology.
• Board certification in Endocrinology.
• Proven experience as an Endocrinology Consultant, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Experience with population health management and value‑based care models.
• Strong clinical judgment, analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
