Enterprise Applications Engineer

About the role

Elm is hiring an Engineer (grade I1, Corporate Planning & Enablement, Corporate Technology, Corporate IT Operations, Enterprise Applications unit) in Riyadh. The role supports the implementation, operation, integration and maintenance of enterprise applications through application support, incident resolution, system change and testing support, and documentation, contributing to the availability and reliability of corporate systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of enterprise applications and corporate systems, perform assigned support activities and service requests, and monitor application performance and availability.
• Investigate and resolve application incidents and technical issues, provide technical support, escalate complex issues, and document incidents and recurring issues.
• Support implementation and deployment of new systems and enhancements, including configuration tasks and pre-deployment validation.
• Support integrations between applications, platforms and enterprise services, test interfaces and coordinate with technical teams on integration issues.
• Support collection and documentation of functional and technical requirements, and help translate business requirements into system requirements.
• Perform system testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documenting results, defects and issues, and support retesting after fixes.
• Support approved system changes, updates and maintenance, and contribute to improving application performance and usability.
• Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, interfaces and integrations, and follow departmental policies, safety, quality, environmental and information security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in application engineering, enterprise applications, software development, application support or related technology areas.
