Explorer Associate

About the role

As an Explorer Associate at Rosewood Red Sea, you will create a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for our youngest guests. You will design and lead a variety of creative, educational, and cultural activities that encourage children to explore, imagine, and discover while delivering the personalized service that defines Rosewood hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome children and families with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate age‑appropriate recreational, educational, creative, cultural and wellness‑inspired activities.
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment.
• Provide professional childcare or babysitting services when requested, following Rosewood’s child safeguarding policies.
• Maintain accurate child registration, attendance records and sign‑in/sign‑out procedures.
• Keep the Explorer area clean, organized, safe and fully stocked with materials and equipment.
• Maintain toys, games and activity equipment in excellent condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Support family events, seasonal celebrations and resort‑wide activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues while delivering Rosewood’s Relationship Hospitality.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Hospitality, Recreation, Education or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience working with children in a luxury hotel Kids Club, childcare centre, nursery, school, summer camp or similar environment.
• Experience planning and facilitating age‑appropriate recreational and educational activities.
• Knowledge of child development, safeguarding and child safety practices.
• Current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification (highly desirable).
• Friendly, energetic, patient and genuinely passionate about working with children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, service‑oriented attitude.
• Fluent spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
