Fabricator I – Piping Fabrication Specialist

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions is seeking a Fabricator I to lead piping fabrication activities safely and efficiently across plant and field locations. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality pipe assemblies that meet strict engineering and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate piping layouts according to job instructions, drawings, material specifications and technical references.
• Set up, align and operate heavy‑duty workshop tools to cut, thread and groove various pipe types and joints.
• Organize materials and equipment required for pipe fabrication tasks.
• Ensure all fabricated pipe work complies with quality and specification requirements.
• Execute fabrication jobs both on‑site and in the field.
• Track progress of ongoing pipe fabrication projects and report status to the pipefitter supervisor.
• Log all fabrication activities and maintain accurate records.
• Support failure‑analysis investigations of piping circuits when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in oil & gas maintenance with a high‑school education.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in oil & gas maintenance with a diploma.
• Valid certification from a recognized third‑party body or an accredited Saudi institute confirming competency to perform the work.
