Finance Manager – Aviation

About the role

Fly Red Sea, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, planning and analysis for its aviation operations. The role will ensure financial health, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance while supporting the company’s growth in air mobility services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, treasury and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards and aviation regulations.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor departmental OPEX, and update rolling forecasts with detailed commentary.
• Support short‑, medium‑ and long‑term financial projections aligned with business strategy.
• Analyse variances, recommend corrective actions and ensure compliance with tax, audit and civil aviation authority requirements.
• Manage revenue and cost accounting for ticket sales, ground handling, aircraft maintenance, leasing and charter services.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, lessors, suppliers and regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as fleet expansion, route profitability, pricing strategies and capital investment planning.
• Utilise ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and aviation‑specific financial tools for accurate reporting and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance within the aviation or air‑mobility sector.
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills with ability to produce insightful financial reports.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory and tax compliance for aviation operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leadership experience managing finance teams.
