Finance Manager – Sports & Entertainment

About the role

To manage RSSE's day‑to‑day financial operations, reporting and budget control across all its brands and activities, reporting to the Cluster Manager – Finance. Ensure accurate transaction recording, compliance with IFRS, company policies and Delegation of Authority, and provide timely financial information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash and bank reconciliations.
• Run month‑end and year‑end close in SAP (accruals, GR/IR, vendor advances, unbilled revenue) and submit closing files for review.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, variance analysis and dashboards for the whole group and each brand.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts with brand and operations teams, monitor OPEX and CAPEX against approved budgets and flag overruns.
• Validate purchase requests, invoices and payments against purchase orders, work‑cost‑centers and Delegation of Authority.
• Review pricing, packages and commercial agreements for compliance with DoA.
• Handle intercompany recharges, reconciliations and collections with RSG entities and partners.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT/ZATCA and internal control requirements; support internal and external audits.
• Conduct financial analysis, ROI assessments and support CAPEX tracking, maintaining an accurate fixed‑asset register.
• Supervise and develop the RSSE finance team, including Specialists and Senior Specialists.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism or entertainment is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA or SOCPA are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong SAP FI/CO experience.
• Ariba procurement system experience (preferred).
• Expertise in IFRS financial reporting.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cost‑control capabilities.
• Financial analysis and ROI assessment.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge (VAT/ZATCA).
• Intercompany reconciliation and fixed‑asset management.
