Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead month‑end closing, ensure accounting accuracy, and provide financial insights to support strategic decisions across a multi‑country business. This role reports to senior leadership and plays a key part in expanding financial operations while maintaining compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage month‑end closing processes in line with IFRS and corporate standards.
• Oversee accounting accuracy, account reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and statutory compliance.
• Drive financial planning & analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Prepare performance reports and dashboards for regional and global senior leadership.
• Provide financial insights, transaction reviews, and commercial decision support for business divisions.
• Strengthen internal controls, ensure audit readiness, and manage corporate governance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local VAT and tax declaration regulations.
• Support the expansion of financial operations across multiple countries.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or ACCA highly preferred.
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, FP&A or corporate finance within multinational enterprises.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, internal control systems and local financial regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset, high sense of responsibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IFRS standards.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP, Hyperion or equivalent ERP systems.
• Financial modeling and data analysis.
• Management reporting.
