Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead Plant Digital's finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust cash management, and full regulatory compliance. This senior position reports to executive management and oversees a team of finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and produce financial reports.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable to support daily operations.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and financial performance against targets.
• Coordinate statutory, IKTVA and local content audits and work with external auditors.
• Oversee tax return preparation, filing and liaison with ZATCA and tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and internal controls.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead, train and motivate the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; professional qualifications (CMA, CPA, CA) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of finance/accounting experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Proven stakeholder management and collaborative teamwork skills.
