Firefighting Supervisor

About the role

The Firefighting Supervisor will lead fire safety initiatives across ZATCA facilities, ensuring readiness, preparedness, and rapid response to fire incidents. Working with internal teams and external service providers, the role drives the implementation of fire protection programs and continuous improvement of safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and benchmark studies to identify best practices and market trends for fire safety.
• Develop fire protection and firefighting guidelines based on local and international standards.
• Assess facility needs through field studies and recommend corrective actions.
• Plan and deliver fire awareness sessions and training programs for employees.
• Coordinate with outsourced service providers to ensure comprehensive coverage of fire‑related activities.
• Schedule and execute fire drills and simulation exercises to evaluate evacuation effectiveness.
• Monitor, analyze, and investigate fire incidents to implement preventive measures.
• Evaluate program implementation across all facilities and ensure alignment with the fire safety plan.
• Oversee performance of external providers to guarantee compliance with required capabilities.
• Support junior staff, provide guidance, and handle escalated issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in fire science, public health, or equivalent (required).
• Approximately 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role (preferred).
