Freight Operations Specialist

About the role

Fastgate Logistics is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Freight Operations Specialist based in Jeddah. The successful candidate will oversee daily freight activities, ensuring shipments are moved securely, on time, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients, government authorities, and internal teams to schedule and monitor shipments.
• Prepare and verify all logistics documentation required for transport and customs clearance.
• Track shipments in real time, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage customs clearance processes and maintain compliance with local regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce risk.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to assess data and solve logistical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in sales and client relationship management.
• Background in operations management and project coordination.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of customs regulations; logistics or supply‑chain background is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
