General Accounting Manager

About the role

The General Accounting Manager will lead the General Accounting function within the Transaction Finance Division, overseeing revenue, payment, payroll, and fixed‑asset accounting. Reporting to the Transaction Finance Director, the role ensures compliance with policies, procedures and accounting standards across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the operational plan and KPIs for the General Accounting function.
• Implement frameworks, methodologies and techniques for accounting activities.
• Prepare budgets, ensure resource optimisation and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee revenue accounting, payment processing, payroll and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Verify revenue documentation, reconcile collection channels with IT systems and consolidate reports.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting cycles and financial reporting.
• Escalate critical issues and decisions to senior management as required.

Required profile

• At least 96 months (8 years) of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven ability to manage a team of accounting professionals.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and internal controls.
