Head of Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Function Head – Finance & Accounting will lead the finance and accounting function for a leading Saudi real‑estate development and investment organisation. Reporting to the CFO & VP Support Services, the role provides strategic financial insight to support investment, development and commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Finance & Accounting across FP&A, accounting operations, tax and treasury.
• Develop and manage annual business plans, departmental budgets and financial forecasts.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including consolidated reporting across subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Saudi GAAP, VAT, Zakat, WHT and ZATCA requirements.
• Lead statutory audits and manage relationships with external auditors, banks and tax advisers.
• Manage treasury operations, cash‑flow forecasting, banking relationships and credit facilities.
• Provide financial analysis for property acquisitions, development feasibility, lease pricing and capital allocation.
• Monitor financial performance, investment returns, risk exposure and cost management.
• Present executive‑level financial reporting and strategic analysis to senior leadership and the Board.
• Drive finance transformation through automation, Power BI reporting, Yardi and AI‑assisted tools.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance & Accounting team, establishing performance measures and succession plans.

Required profile

• Established finance leader with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Extensive experience with IFRS, Saudi GAAP and local tax regulations (VAT, Zakat, WHT, ZATCA).
• Proven track record in real‑estate finance, budgeting, forecasting and treasury management.
• Ability to partner with senior executives and present complex financial information clearly.
