Head of Finance (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing Food & Beverage company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the finance function and partner with the Managing Director on strategic and commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire finance function, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi financial regulations, including ZATCA, VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Drive financial controls, governance, risk management and internal audit processes.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business expansion and operational decisions.
• Develop and mentor the finance team while improving systems, reporting and processes.
• Partner with external auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in Food & Beverage, FMCG or consumer goods.
• Extensive experience leading finance operations within Saudi Arabia.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA (preferred).
• Arabic speaking preferred.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi VAT, Corporate Tax and ZATCA regulations.
• Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Cash‑flow management and financial reporting.
• Financial controls, governance, risk management and internal audit.
