Head of Institutional Non‑Borrowing (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Bank of Jordan is seeking a senior leader to drive the growth of institutional and corporate non‑borrowing deposits across its Saudi Arabia network. Reporting to senior management, the Head of Institutional Non‑Borrowing will shape strategy, manage a dedicated team and ensure delivery of high‑quality banking solutions to public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market‑driven strategy to increase non‑borrowing deposits in Saudi Arabia.
• Lead, coach and evaluate the unit’s staff, overseeing workflow, performance management and operational efficiency.
• Design and enhance institutional banking products such as deposits, cash‑management, payment and digital services.
• Build and sustain relationships with ministries, embassies, large corporations, international organisations and other key deposit sources.
• Drive business development, client acquisition and achievement of sales targets.
• Monitor service quality, resolve client issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal departments and the Head Office to deliver integrated solutions and support liquidity management.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and interest‑rate movements to keep pricing competitive.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Central Bank regulations, AML/CFT standards and internal governance.
• Represent the bank at conferences, forums and institutional events to strengthen market presence.
• Oversee reporting, audit follow‑ups and implementation of corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Sciences, Banking or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of banking or financial‑services experience, including 3‑5 years in non‑borrowing account management or institutional business development.
• Proven track record of growing client portfolios in both public and private sectors.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of Companies Law, Banking Law and Saudi Central Bank regulations.
• Leadership and supervisory experience.
