Head of Procurement

About the role

The Head of Procurement will lead Tahreez's procurement function, driving supplier management excellence, procurement efficiency and cost optimisation to support the company's project delivery and managed services business.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize supplier management processes, conduct audits and performance reviews, and negotiate commercial terms across categories.
• Streamline procurement processes, implement automation tools, define productivity metrics and partner with IT for system adoption.
• Implement cost‑management strategies, execute cost‑saving initiatives, conduct budget variance analysis and balance cost reduction with quality and risk.
• Lead regular progress reviews, foster continuous improvement and champion global procurement tools and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field (CIPS/CPSM/CPM a plus).
• 10+ years progressive procurement/supply‑chain experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving supplier performance.

Required skills

• Experience with procurement automation tools.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
