Head of QA/QC – Quality Assurance & Control Lead

About the role

The Head of QA/QC will lead the quality assurance and control function for plant maintenance at KBR in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure that all maintenance processes comply with the company’s HSEQ standards and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA plans and process‑control procedures to meet quality and HSEQ requirements.
• Maintain the Corrective Action program and other quality systems.
• Coordinate and participate in internal audits with company quality personnel.
• Conduct investigations of deviations, out‑of‑specifications events and root‑cause analyses.
• Review maintenance processes to ensure adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
• Liaise with other departments on QA issues and support contractor compliance.
• Manage the QA department budget, training and administrative functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a quality control/assurance role.
• Strong technical understanding of quality control and assurance.
• Proven leadership experience in large organisations.
• Strategic thinking and excellent communication skills.
