Heavy Equipment Trainer / Assessor

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Heavy Equipment Trainer / Assessor to join its team in Dammam. The Assessor develops, implements, reports on and analyses all certifications within the Certification Team, ensuring that written and performance sections are developed and maintained according to company policy for rigging, crane operators and heavy equipment operators.

Key responsibilities

• Assess operators' competency through heavy equipment assessments (backhoe, bulldozer, forklift, grader, wheel loader, skid loader, backhoe loader, sideboom telehandler and more), crane assessments and rigger assessments.
• Help develop written and practical assessments in your field of expertise.
• Ensure assessments are completed efficiently and professionally, and complete the analysis of all assessments.
• Take on mentoring responsibilities as required.
• Assist with QA audits, policy and procedural reviews and development, and uphold the HE Certifications Unit policy.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Proven experience in training or assessment roles, preferably in the heavy equipment or construction industry.
• Experience training in backhoe, bulldozer, forklift, wheel loader, backhoe loader, cranes and similar areas.
• Valid certifications and licenses to operate heavy machinery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to give constructive feedback to trainees.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and operational procedures for heavy equipment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
