Hostess (Saudi)

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a professional and enthusiastic Hostess to join its hospitality team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the first point of contact for guests, the Hostess creates a warm welcome and ensures smooth dining experiences, in line with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally, setting the tone for their dining experience
• Manage guest seating, table allocation and dining flow according to reservations and walk-ins
• Maintain knowledge of menus, special events, seating arrangements and guest preferences
• Work closely with service and kitchen teams to keep operations running smoothly
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback and concerns, escalating issues when needed
• Manage reservations, including guest details, seating plans and preference notes, and confirm them with the team
• Answer phone calls professionally and help guests with bookings and special requests
• Keep the host stand and reception area clean and inviting, and perform side duties such as menu preparation, table resets and entrance area maintenance
• Follow health, safety, hygiene and service standards, and stay calm and organised during busy periods

Required profile

• Preferably 1 year of experience in a guest-facing role or hospitality environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is an advantage
• Saudi nationality preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays

Required skills

• Excellent English communication; Arabic is highly desirable
• Proficiency with reservation and point-of-sale systems
• Strong organisation, time management and multitasking skills
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
