Hotel Manager – Operations & Guest Experience Leader

About the role

The Hotel Manager leads the overall operation of the property, ensuring financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team effectiveness. Reporting to senior leadership, the role balances day‑to‑day service delivery with strategic revenue and asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel departments – Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Food & Beverage – to guarantee smooth operations and compliance with brand standards.
• Drive financial results by monitoring P&L, controlling expenses, forecasting revenue, and achieving GOP and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and support local business development initiatives.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction scores, manage complaints, and implement service recovery and retention programs.
• Lead, coach and develop department heads and staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure appropriate staffing and succession planning.
• Ensure health, safety, security and regulatory compliance, including Ministry of Tourism, civil defence and labour laws.
• Protect hotel assets through preventive maintenance plans and capital expenditure recommendations.
• Prepare regular operational, financial and commercial reports and drive KPI‑based improvement actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive hotel management experience, preferably in a comparable senior role.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction targets.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
