HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will lead the development and enforcement of health, safety and environmental policies at our Jubail site. You will work closely with management and workers to create a proactive safety culture while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce safety policies in line with local laws and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections to identify hazards.
• Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain safety records.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and awareness programs for all employees.
• Implement emergency preparedness plans, including fire, evacuation and first‑aid procedures.
• Coordinate with management and workers to continuously improve safety culture.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE laws, standards and best practices.
• Good communication skills in Arabic; English is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently on a site‑based role.
