HVAC & Refrigeration Technician – Full-Time (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Al Sagr is seeking a skilled HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join its Saudi Arabia operations. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment for commercial and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot split AC, package units, ducted split, cassette, and VRF/VRV systems.
• Maintain and repair cold rooms, commercial refrigerators, freezers, and display chillers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including compressor, motor, thermostat, contactor, and capacitor replacements.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Document service reports and daily work records while adhering to safety standards.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on HVAC & refrigeration experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent technical qualification.
• Valid Saudi Iqama (transferable preferred) and basic English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Installation, maintenance and repair of split AC, package units, ducted split, cassette, VRF/VRV systems.
• Cold rooms, commercial refrigerators, freezers, walk‑in chillers.
• Compressor replacement, refrigerant charging (R22, R410A), leak detection.
• Copper pipe brazing, vacuuming, pressure testing.
• Electrical fault finding, reading wiring diagrams, use of HVAC testing instruments.
