IBM Integration Team Lead – Operations and Support

About the role

Lead the L2 Application Support team responsible for enterprise IBM Integration platforms, ensuring high availability, stability, and reliable day‑to‑day operations. Provide technical leadership and hands‑on support across IBM App Connect Enterprise, Integration Bus, and DataPower environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex integration incidents, service requests, and production issues within defined SLAs.
• Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of critical issues across APIs, message flows, queues, and connected applications.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, middleware, database, network, security, and vendor teams to resolve production incidents.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management activities following ITIL processes.
• Perform detailed RCA for recurring incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Oversee production deployments, configuration changes, certificates, and connectivity while adhering to change‑release procedures.
• Mentor and develop L2 support engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and a strong IBM Integration support capability.

Required profile

• 12+ years of IT experience with significant focus on IBM Integration and application support.
• Proven experience leading L2 support teams in large enterprise environments, preferably banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, leadership, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
