About the role
SALAMA Cooperative Insurance Co. is seeking a qualified Internal Audit Senior Officer to strengthen its internal audit function at the Head Office in Jeddah. The role involves executing risk‑based audits, evaluating controls, and supporting the development of audit plans.
Key responsibilities
- Execute risk‑based internal audit procedures and evaluate internal controls.
- Identify control gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare audit working papers, findings, recommendations, and reports.
- Support risk assessments and the development of annual audit plans.
- Follow up on audit observations and management actions.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual internal audit reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3–5 years of relevant audit experience.
- IFCE Certificate is required.
- Good knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
- Strong analytical, report‑writing, and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of the insurance industry and current developments.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
