Interventional Radiology Consultant

About the role

The Interventional Radiology Consultant will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients within Fakeeh Care facilities, overseeing diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedural interventions in line with evidence‑based standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties within assigned privileges, including patient assessments (clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, functional) and documentation.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based care plans, ensuring timely execution and daily progress note updates using SOAP format.
• Act as the Most Responsible Physician for in‑patients, coordinating discharge planning and completing discharge summaries and instructions.
• Respond promptly to medical consultations and document all interventions in the medical record.
• Participate in departmental meetings, teaching rounds, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Fakeeh Care’s person‑centered values.

Required profile

• Board or Fellowship qualification in Interventional Radiology.
• Valid practice license from the regional health regulatory authority (e.g., SCFHS, DHA) and BLS certification.
• Relevant experience as defined by the regional health authority in recognized medical centers.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organizational ability to work effectively in high‑stress environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications.
