Investment Specialist

About the role

The Investment Specialist joins Orbit Startups’ investment team to support deal execution, portfolio management, and ecosystem engagement. Working closely with founders, co‑investors and internal teams, you will help portfolio companies secure resources and drive value through the Orbit programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, including research, financial analysis, and market trend assessment.
• Prepare fundraising readiness materials such as investment decks, financial models, and data rooms for portfolio companies.
• Create and maintain financial models with founders to identify unsustainable practices and forecast outcomes.
• Manage the end‑to‑end deal execution process, from sourcing meetings and documentation to closing new investments.
• Maintain relationships with co‑investors, potential investors, and ecosystem partners, and ensure accurate tracking of portfolio data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with strong analytical and research abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to self‑manage in ambiguous situations.
• Highly proactive, resourceful, and capable of building meaningful relationships with founders and partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
