Investor Relations Officer

About the role

Investor Relations Officer is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with investors, shareholders and other stakeholders, and for managing communication between corporate management and the investment community.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor financial markets to identify opportunities and risks for the business.
• Communicate with executives, board members, shareholders and other stakeholders.
• Research and analyse industry trends and competitor activities.
• Provide updates on financial performance, including quarterly earnings reports and investor presentations.
• Create and deliver periodic reports to investors and answer their queries.
• Research potential acquisition targets and assess their value.
• Develop and implement communication strategies to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor operational changes and craft investor relations messages accordingly.
• Coordinate with the legal department on establishing new investment entities.
• Evaluate shareholder data, maintain the database and perform any duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in investor relations or a similar finance role.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to perform duties assigned by the line manager.
