IP/IMS Engineer – Technical Authority (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IP/IMS Engineer to join a major telecommunications project in Saudi Arabia on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role provides Technical Authority across the IMS domain, ensuring designs are scalable, secure, highly available and aligned with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own solution governance for IMS architectures, configurations and network changes.
• Review and guide IMS designs, upgrades and integrations.
• Support Core IMS, SBC, TAS, HSS/UDM and PCRF/PCF environments.
• Assess technical risks and service impacts of network changes.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex IMS issues and performance degradation.
• Conduct design reviews, change impact assessments and root‑cause analysis.
• Ensure IMS solutions meet availability, scalability, security and SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors, Network Delivery, Operations and SNOC teams.

Required profile

• Strong IMS architecture experience with hands‑on Core IMS expertise.
• Proven ability to provide technical governance and senior escalation support.
• Experience working in large‑scale telecom operator environments.
• Excellent vendor and stakeholder management skills.
