Junior Data Scientist – Crypto & FinTech

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join a fully remote, international team focused on cryptocurrency, blockchain, digital assets, and FinTech. You will work on real‑world data projects, building predictive models and delivering insights that drive product and business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze cryptocurrency, blockchain, financial and transactional datasets.
• Perform statistical and predictive analytics using Python and SQL.
• Build, evaluate and tune machine‑learning models.
• Identify trends, anomalies and market insights for risk and fraud analysis.
• Create dashboards and visualisations with Power BI or Tableau.
• Clean, transform and validate large data sets, working with APIs and real‑time feeds.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers and senior data scientists.
• Document analytical findings and model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning or FinTech, or strong personal projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good English communication skills and a genuine interest in crypto, blockchain, AI and FinTech.
