Lead Accounting & Financial Technology Consultant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Accounting & Financial Technology Consultant to help global clients transform their finance operations. In this remote position you will combine deep accounting expertise with AI‑driven automation to improve efficiency across accounts payable, receivable, and financial close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert on controllership and financial process transformation.
• Guide clients in designing and implementing AI and automation solutions for accounting functions.
• Collaborate with analysts to produce research that addresses senior finance leaders’ priorities.
• Deliver high‑quality advice through both virtual and face‑to‑face client interactions.
• Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in finance and accounting transformation.

Required profile

• 8+ years managing accounting functions in large organizations.
• Proven track record in transforming financial close and reporting processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA or similar certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong client‑trust focus.
