About the role
Parsons is hiring a Lead Design Engineer – Wet Utilities to work on large‑scale infrastructure projects that shape communities. The role involves applying standard engineering techniques and performing analyses using CAE and CAD tools.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare drawings, specifications and procurement‑ready documents using CAE/CAD.
- Develop engineering calculations, material takeoffs, cost estimates, surveys and design packages.
- Generate detailed equipment and material requisitions.
- Review supplier drawing sub‑mittals and assist with technical bid analysis.
- Issue specifications, data sheets and other construction documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters and junior engineers on the project.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 14 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CAD and CAE software.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic modeling tools such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS and Water Hammer analysis.
- Technical writing and presentation abilities.
