Lead Field Engineer – Façade & Envelope

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Field Engineer to manage façade and envelope systems on complex construction projects in Riyadh. You will direct a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring design, installation and quality meet international standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field activities for curtain walls, glazing, and weather‑proofing installations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and project managers to integrate façade systems with overall building construction.
• Conduct technical analysis of designs, identify issues and propose solutions.
• Manage quality‑control inspections, testing protocols and compliance with building codes.
• Oversee installation procedures, provide technical guidance and enforce safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain as‑built drawings, inspection reports and performance data.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, reporting progress to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of field engineering experience in façade and envelope systems.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience on commercial or high‑rise projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
