About the role
We are seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join our client’s oil & gas and petrochemical projects in Jubail. The role focuses on process safety and design, ensuring robust engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and review Process Design Basis (PDB) and Design Philosophy documents.
- Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs).
- Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus or equivalent.
- Define operating cases, turndown, start‑up, shutdown, and upset scenarios.
- Lead and close P&ID reviews and HAZOP actions with proper documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or chemical process plants.
- Prior PDP / FEED and DEP execution experience.
- Strong knowledge of PDP and FEED workflows.
- Saudi‑based candidates preferred.
