Maintenance Manager (HDPE) - Saudi Nationals Preferred

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Maintenance Superintendent for its HDPE plant in Al-Jubail. The role covers day-to-day maintenance of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment, with Saudi nationals preferred. It also supports the Reliability Department and the planning and scheduling function.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all maintenance jobs assigned to contractors for the HDPE plant's mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work in line with company standards.
• Report maintenance execution regularly in the CMMS system.
• Support the Planning and Scheduling Supervisor and the Reliability Department on bad actor analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Prepare weekly maintenance reports and update them during maintenance meetings.
• Manage daily maintenance activities and ensure equipment availability and reliability.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for HDPE process equipment.
• Review and improve personnel competency through job-specific training with the Head of HR.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements during maintenance.
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds and major overhauls to complete them safely and on time.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in oil and gas or petrochemical maintenance; bachelor's degree.
• Experience in HDPE, MFC, aromatics, polyolefins or polymer manufacturing plants is preferred.
• Well organized and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership in large organizations, sound judgment under pressure and strategic thinking.
• Able to deliver results in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of maintenance contract management.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and refinery/petrochemical maintenance standards.
• CMMS reporting.
