Maintenance Technician – Restaurant & Facility Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will work full‑time on‑site in Riyadh, supporting Foodsmith’s restaurant operations by maintaining, repairing and optimizing kitchen and facility equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and carry out urgent repairs to minimize downtime.
• Set up and maintain temporary catering equipment for events, ensuring safe operation of ovens, refrigerators, warmers, coffee makers and portable bars.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience in equipment maintenance for restaurant or food service brands such as Kudu, Shawarmer, Herfy or Al Baik.
• Background in industrial maintenance, preferably in hospitality or food service environments.
• Knowledge of safety standards and basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to read manuals and maintenance documentation, keep accurate records, and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
