Manager - SAP Engineer (ABAP/CPI)

About the role

Almosafer is seeking a Manager for Platform Engineering focused on SAP ABAP and CPI. The role leads the design, development, and integration of SAP solutions to support the company’s migration to S/4HANA 2025 and cloud‑ready architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the CPI integration strategy, including redesign, migration, testing, and cut‑over for AWS‑based landscapes.
• Collaborate with Basis, Cloud, Security, and Functional teams to ensure seamless migration, performance tuning, and system stability.
• Coordinate offshore and on‑shore development teams to meet project milestones.
• Lead RICEFW development, CDS Views, S/4HANA optimisation, Clean Core practices and adoption of ABAP AI capabilities.
• Create and maintain OData services for Fiori applications, replacing legacy SAP GUI screens.
• Implement SAP Business AI and Joule capabilities to automate business processes.
• Design, configure and support SAP Multi‑Bank Connectivity and Data Medium Exchange processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP and CPI development.
• Proven leadership in managing cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Hands‑on experience with S/4HANA migration, cloud environments (AWS) and integration best practices.
• Strong understanding of RICEFW, CDS Views, Clean Core and AI‑enhanced ABAP development.
