MCX Solution Architect – Mission Critical Communications

About the role

You will define and lead the end‑to‑end design and deployment of mission‑critical communication platforms for enterprise and industrial environments, ensuring high availability, low latency and secure interoperability across devices, networks and dispatch systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect MCX solutions (MCPTT, MCVideo, MCData) ensuring QoS, priority, preemption and service continuity.
• Lead end‑to‑end blueprints covering access, transport, core, IMS, dispatch, recording systems and device ecosystems.
• Drive vendor selection, solution validation and deployment governance, including HLD/LLD documentation, integration planning and acceptance testing.
• Define resilience architecture with geo‑redundancy, active‑active/standby configurations, disaster‑recovery and observability frameworks.
• Establish security‑by‑design principles covering encryption, identity and key management, and auditability.

Required profile

• 15+ years designing and deploying mission‑critical communication platforms (MCX, PS‑LTE or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with vendors such as Hytera, Airbus, Motorola Solutions or TDTech and deep knowledge of 3GPP Mission Critical Services, IMS, VoLTE/VoNR and policy control.
• Proven ability to produce HLD/LLD documents, test strategies and operational readiness artefacts for multi‑vendor programmes.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑engagement skills, able to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate technical strategies clearly.
