Mechanical Engineer – Project Management (Saudi National)

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will lead internal project plans and coordinate activities across the supply chain, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Reporting to the project management office, the role acts as the single point of contact during execution of supply‑line projects for AFET KSA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage internal project schedules, aligning tasks with stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee design quality, sourcing, and logistics planning for equipment and components.
• Handle project variations, scope changes, and financial outcomes while maintaining compliance with AFET’s methodology.
• Lead multifunctional teams, conduct project reporting, audits, handovers, and final closures.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, change management, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coach Project Coordinators and Specialists to enhance team performance and morale.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in project management, preferably within supply chain or logistics environments.
• Strong customer relationship and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and motivate cross‑functional teams.
