Medical Advisor – Oncology (Riyadh)

About the role

The leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Medical Advisor specialized in Oncology to join its Riyadh team. The role involves providing scientific and medical expertise, supporting clinical research, and acting as a bridge between internal departments and external healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep scientific and medical knowledge in oncology.
• Facilitate scientific exchange, respond to medical information requests, and deliver clinical presentations.
• Provide medical support for patients and formulary access products in line with global and local policies.
• Support the planning, execution, and reporting of medical activities, including Investigator Initiated Studies and observational studies.
• Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and relevant organizations.
• Assist Marketing, Sales, and Regulatory teams on scientific and medical matters.
• Serve as a medical expert for internal training and sales education.
• Attend scientific meetings and conferences, and contribute to the development of summaries, presentations, or symposium materials.

Required profile

• Saudi national (due to Saudization requirements).
• Medical degree (MD), PharmD, or a relevant life‑science qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in Oncology Medical Affairs and strong understanding of the Saudi oncology landscape.
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to engage effectively with external experts and internal stakeholders.
