Medical Science Liaison Lead – Riyadh (Contract)

About the role

PTC Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Lead to support disease diagnosis and strategic initiatives across its portfolio in Saudi Arabia. This field‑based role will represent the company to key opinion leaders, clinicians, and academic institutions, driving early and accurate diagnosis of rare diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Attend national and regional medical meetings and symposia as the company representative.
• Engage with KOLs, clinicians, and professional organizations to provide scientific information about PTC products.
• Respond promptly to unsolicited requests for product and disease‑state information.
• Identify regional diagnostic gaps and develop innovative diagnosis initiatives.
• Partner with clinical science and diagnostics teams to support early disease recognition.
• Build long‑term relationships with healthcare providers through scientific discussions.
• Provide market insights and client feedback to company management.

Required profile

• Field‑based medical affairs experience, preferably as an MSL.
• Strong clinical expertise in disease state, presentation, and differential diagnosis relevant to PTC’s portfolio.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate across functions.
• Excellent communication skills for scientific dialogue with clinicians and KOLs.
