Murex Environment Manager (EOD & Market Risk)

About the role

Luxoft is seeking a senior Murex Environment Manager to support a large Saudi bank's end‑of‑day (EOD) processing and market‑risk operations. The role is technical production support, ensuring that critical batch jobs run smoothly and that market‑risk vendor deliveries are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Murex 2.11 and 3.1 EOD processes via Control‑M and ensure batch jobs complete on schedule.
• Provide Level‑2 support for EOD incidents, close recurring problems through problem management.
• Execute pre‑EOD checks, create and test EOD jobs, and troubleshoot failures (DataMart feeders, market data, user sessions, accounting).
• Escalate infrastructure issues and log all incidents.
• Coordinate vendor bug fixes, deploy re‑tests, and verify quality of technical deployments.
• Support users during SIT/UAT, advise on best practices, and obtain sign‑offs.
• Monitor and tune overall EOD performance, perform sanity checks in the Murex UI, and handle ad‑hoc requests such as on‑demand reports and file transfers.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of total IT experience, with 8‑10 years specifically in Murex environment management.
• Strong knowledge of Murex EOD architecture, key services, log structures, and artefact locations.
• Experience with market‑risk modules in Murex.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting batch and infrastructure issues.
