Offshore Director – Marine Operations & Business Development

About the role

The Offshore Director is the single point of accountability for Front End’s offshore business, reporting directly to the CEO. This senior role merges marine operational command with commercial leadership to ensure safe, efficient fleet operation and profitable offshore project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Hold overall accountability for the safe, compliant and commercially optimal operation of owned and chartered fleet (PSV, AHTS, crew boats, jack‑up units, project vessels).
• Maximise fleet utilisation and minimise off‑hire through disciplined planning, maintenance and breakdown prevention.
• Direct movement of offshore units into, within and out of fields, including anchoring, towing, mooring and maneuvering in constrained zones.
• Oversee Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations, DP operator competency, lifting operations and grounding/collision prevention.
• Govern diving and ROV operations (surface‑supplied, mixed‑gas, subsea intervention).
• Lead construction & installation activities such as subsea installation, platform transportation, heavy‑lift and pipeline trenching.
• Supervise surveying & monitoring programmes including subsea surveys, as‑built verification and marine seismic acquisition.
• Manage drilling, de‑commissioning and offshore mining initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics & support services, including fueling, autonomous aerial logistics and integrated offshore support.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and drive commercial pipeline development, contract structuring and profitability defence.

Required profile

• Credible marine operator with extensive experience on the bridge and deep knowledge of Saudi Aramco offshore requirements.
• Commercially astute executive capable of building a pipeline, structuring contracts and defending margins.
• Proven leadership of large offshore fleets and complex project delivery.
• Strong decision‑making ability in both operational and board‑room environments.
