Onboard Signaling Maintenance Technician

About the role

Alstom Grid is looking for a full‑time Onboard Signaling Maintenance Technician to join its team in Nariyah, Saudi Arabia. You will work with a dedicated maintenance crew to support the European Train Control System (ETCS) onboard signaling equipment, ensuring reliable operation for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance on onboard signaling systems.
• Troubleshoot faults, perform fault finding and corrective actions.
• Interpret technical schematics, drawings and reports to guide maintenance activities.
• Coach, supervise and assess customer staff to develop their technical skills.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety, environmental and health regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Communication Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in signaling maintenance or testing & commissioning.
• Familiarity with rail signaling systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and follow prescribed procedures.
