Operations Manager - Kids Entertainment Venue

About the role

A boutique kids' entertainment venue in Riyadh is looking for a highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager. This is a hands-on, onsite role covering daily operations, staff management, customer experience and event and birthday party execution, as well as internal administration and coordination with external service providers and government entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily opening and closing of the venue, staff scheduling, attendance tracking and shift management, including call-ins, sick leave and last-minute replacements
• Train and supervise reception staff and floor supervisors
• Handle cash handling, POS oversight and daily cash closure
• Keep the venue ready at all times (cleanliness, lighting, AC, equipment) and run daily safety and security checks
• Handle incidents such as injuries, complaints and emergencies
• Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment, manage supplier deliveries and quality checks
• Manage inventory across the café, arts and crafts supplies, branded merchandise and retail products, and coordinate with suppliers on ordering, deliveries and invoices
• Manage petty cash and expense logging
• Coordinate weekly with an external accounting firm on bookkeeping, VAT filings, Zakat and tax compliance and audit preparation

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management (hospitality, retail, entertainment or family venues preferred)
• Strong people management and scheduling skills
• Comfortable coordinating with government platforms and external service providers
• Detail-oriented, calm under pressure and solutions-driven
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and peak periods; onsite presence required
