Operations Tech SME – Quick Commerce

About the role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Tech Subject Matter Expert to support rapid‑growth, technology‑enabled Quick Commerce operations in Riyadh. You will act as the bridge between Operations, Product and Tech teams, ensuring smooth launches, stable system workflows and an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness and launch activities, validating workflows, tools and processes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues in partnership with Tech, Product and Operations.
• Conduct structured testing, UAT and defect validation to identify gaps before go‑live.
• Support data validation for operational workflows and customer‑facing promises.
• Coordinate cross‑functional partners to resolve defects and ensure launch readiness.
• Monitor post‑launch performance, escalate issues and drive root‑cause resolution.
• Identify recurring patterns, propose long‑term fixes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations, Supply Chain or Business Administration.
• At least 1 year of technical support, engineering or operations experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
