Operator Assistant – Entry Level Well Logging

About the role

Join Halliburton as an Operator Assistant I‑L&P and support the rigging and operation of surface and down‑hole well logging equipment. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in oil field services while you develop technical knowledge and safety expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with rigging‑up and rigging‑down of well logging equipment at job sites.
• Support the operation of surface and down‑hole logging tools (electric, nuclear, sonic, etc.).
• Learn to assemble, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on logging equipment.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑job vehicle and equipment inspections and complete related paperwork.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• Basic mathematical, reading and writing skills.
• Willingness to obtain required licences (commercial vehicle) and certifications (Well Control, water survival) where applicable.
• Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
