Process Control Engineer – SAMAC

About the role

The Process Control Engineer will provide technical support to the production department by monitoring plant performance, generating reports, and implementing advanced process control solutions on high‑level computing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support process and operations teams daily to resolve process‑control issues and ensure efficient plant operation.
• Build and maintain process models for simulation studies and support SAMAC plant simulators.
• Conduct feasibility studies for advanced process‑control solutions such as multivariable control, software analyzers, optimizers, alarm handling, and expert systems.
• Monitor control‑loop performance and troubleshoot plant process‑control problems.

Required profile

• At least 120 months (10 years) of experience in process control engineering within a chemical or industrial plant environment.
